Today was a great day for me. Am feeling very very happy after a long time. Got up late with amma giving me good Hot bed tea :D (i drink coffee,but very occasionaly :D)! Felt very fresh cos i had slept for almost the whole of Saturday and had a sound sleep last night. O:-)
I had decided to take amma out for lunch today, so safely escaped from todays duty of cooking :D :P ;). We went to a desi restraunt 601 at The Park. Quite an expensive place but was damn cool and a nice place to hang out. Had a very nice heavy lunch.
Menu :D - Starter with Clear veg soup (but it wasnt clear one..was only keerai thani with lots of keerai in it.. but was very tasty :D, then paneer tikka, apram Dosai. Main Course :-Dum biriyani (Veg!), Pav bhaji, Bracolli and cauliflower mixed veg, aviyal, beetroot poriyal, mixed veg curry, stuffed tomato, paneer butter masala, naan, dhaal and thayirsaadam :D.
Dessert :- some cheese cakes were there but i dint have those cakes. I had little fruit salad and watermelon juice and vanilla icecream topped with chocolate and honey sauce and few choco crunch flakes :D and finished with a hot masala chai :D
Then came the most exciting and wonderful part of the day. There was a meet at Abirami Mall with my school friends. It was great to meet them after a real long time of 6-7 years. One guy after about 11 years. It was really nice to see them. Every one of us are well placed now. We are earning and happy in life. We were chatting for about 41/2 hours. One guy is a doctor and he was narrating about his experineces, 5 guys are into big big software companies and one gal finished her M.Sc in Microbiology and ready for kalyanam :P ;). We were teasing each other and making fun of each other. Had a gala time. We actually wanted to go to the snowfield there, but couldnt get tickets and also we had to leave as it was getting late. Am all tears now.. ore ananda kaneer :D :)
Can never get back the fun i had during my school days. I miss those days :( but those sweet memories are keeping me happy :)

Atlast Weekend!!
It was a very tiring and hectic week. Invariably extented my shift everyday. Had loads of work to do and also some pending to be continued on Monday. :(
This week had few improtant events. Monday and tuesday had hell a lot of work which made me sleep for jus 4 hours out of 48 hours :((. On 20th my friend Smriti came back from her Srirangam and Thirunelveli tour. So was awaiting for the halwa :D
On 20th night we both were chatting for such a long time that I didnt work at ofiz at all and then had to put in extra time slogging to complete my work.
On 21st my jigiri dosth Lavan was leaving for Dehli IIT for doing her MBA. So was bit upset that i will be missing her company for another 5 1/2 months before she comes for her winter vacations in December. Smriti came home with halwa [malipoo missing ;) :P ] and then we both went to lav's house and bid her buhbyeee.
There was some function at one another friend Deepsuns home. So we both went to his house. Parth had come to deeps house directly. It was excellent at Deepaks house. They had made very very good decoration and I felt very relaxed and happy at their house. Unfortunately, we couldnt stay there for long (for eating the puliyodarai prasadam) as I had to be at office at 5.30pm as I had an audit. :( Smrithi dropped me at office and left home. Audit went on okay but again was really tiring day.
On friday,had a pooja at home for aadi velli. I had a party at office. So had been to dinner at Residency Towers T.Nagar. The party was excellent. The food was wonderful, but all i ate was only dessert. As it was aadi vellikazhamai and i had to paal thelichufy for puthu, couldnt each much outside. Then work at ofis again was heavy. :((
Now still sitting at ofiz.. about to leave for home in a couple of minutes...

Lost in Desert!
In a village there lived a cute little boy, very playful and naughty. He did decently well in his academics. You can always find a bright grin in his face. Come what may he always appears cheerful and smiling.
But then he was not really happy within himself. There was some unexpressed and deep fear in him, which was killing him day in and day out. He was such a kind of boy who postpones his pleasures for the sake of his goals and aims. Even the smallest happiness in life, he kept postponing. When he was in his high school he wanted a pair of trousers, which all his classmates had bought and which was in big fashion those days, but then he said to himself that he is not going to buy any new fashionable things or dress until he becomes a graduate. He would try to keep himself satisfied with what his parents would get him.
One good character of his is that he respects friendship and would do anything for a friend. Many of his friends took advantage of this character of his and exploited him to the maximum. Being aware of their character too he would say “If he does so, I needn’t do the same thing to him, then what’s the big difference between him and me??”
At last with fire in his belly he graduated!! So he decided to treat himself with the pair of trousers, which he wanted to buy long ago. But then, now he felt it was too childish for his age to wear such dresses and now that he is graduated he should be professionally dressed. Thus he never got the trousers, which he liked so much.
Did things change for him? Not a bit!! Newer challenges came up in life for. He had high aims and always was in thirst to achieve something in life. But he was crippled from going in his path of career due to lots of other factors and his family situations. One fine day, he wanted to look back the path he came by and wanted to know where he was standing in his life. But to his surprise he had achieved nothing that he wanted to. He was shocked and now started cribbing that he had been cheating himself all these days that he neither enjoyed life nor he achieved anything he wanted to.
With heavy heart he started roving through the rest of his life like a person who lost his way in a desert!!
Moral that I inferred from the story is "Take life as it comes. Never postpone you joy and enjoyment for something, you may end up in not having the same fun again for your lifetime!!!"

Kesavan and Mayur in Chennai. So we decided to have a meet for them. We met at Cenatoph Road, Dhabba Express for Lunch at 2.00pm.
:-s As usual i wanted to be there in time but unfortunately due to some personal work went late by 20 minutes. ^:)^
K7, Mayur, Mithil, Smirit, Parth and Badree had already reached there. Then we were chatting for sometime waiting for others to come. But later decided to start off so that others could come and join. Only Parth, Smriti, Mithil and Badree had their lunch others had already finished our lunch at home. Anyways we had lots of jeelabi from their plates :D :-P~ really tasty!!
Later Shayam Srinivasan, Lavanya and Vijay joined us. We had real fun teasing K7 and Mayurs manni :D :P. Took few professional snaps :P ;) Then we ordered for Lassi. We had to wait for really long time to get our lassi served. Then ordered Kulfi :D \:D/
I had two. I looted one from lavan ;) :D. Poor gal she skipped her lunch as the buffet was closed by the time she joined us. She had her housewarming ceremony today morning.
After a good lunch we paid the bill in a real dutch manner. :|. Kesavan was very particular in settling everyones share to paise :-/
Then we again had a long chat session pulling each others legs. My image was getting totally damaged :| :-s. We were actually waiting for two other friends - Karthik and Prady to join us. They were supposed to be back from Pondicherry by 3.00pm but due to some technical fault :P got delayed and only Karthik turned up at 4.15pm.
By that time the Dhabaa Express was closing down and we were literally asked to get out of the place. Had we delayed couple of minutes they would have thrown us out.
Badree and Shaym left early as they had some work.
After a small aratai, K7 left as he had to be at his place at 4.30 and others also dispersed. Me and Lavanya decided to drop Karthik at his place in adyar. Lavan skipped her lunch. So we went to Sri Krishna sweets and had some snacks. We were talking and talking that the people at SKS started staring at us. So got out from there and went to Cup and Saucer and had Tea and continued our intersting discussions about applying for higher studies ;) and prospects in US of A. :P ;) :D
At 7.30pm thought we were getting late and hence decieded to start. Left Karthik at his place and we reached back home.
Had a plesant weekend :)

Hip hop and Skip - Part II
Trip to Thiruvanmiyur. – 11-06-2005
Got up at 5.00am and started cooking :D I was in charge of the Lunch for the day. I had to prepare puliyodarai and Dhadiyonam and we had planned to have our lunch in the pine forest on the way to mahabalipuram. :D
A great meet!! People assembled at my home at 11.00am. Actually they were supposed to be there at 10.30 and none except lavan turned up in time. Later Ambs, Smriti, Raghu and Badree came at 11.00am. They came in Smritis car and the next batch of people were expected anytime. Actually it was getting late becos of Deepak who had some other function at 11.00am. At 11.30am Deepak, Vijay and Parthan came in Vijays car. We started off our trip at 12.00pm. Actual plan was only up to few kms away from Thiruvanmiyur, but then we couldn’t find a nice place anywhere.
Badree suggested that we could have our lunch at the Tiger caves. Unfortunately he didn’t know how far it was X-( so we kept driving and at last we reached kovalam beach :D Raghu wanted to see kovalam beach.. so we both went near the water and took few snaps.
Unfortunately one big wave came and I got totally drenched. Worst thing was my mobile was in my pocket and it too got wet and odanju pochu :((
Aparam from there we enquired few people and at last reached Tiger caves!! #:-s
Badree had bought a football and we played for sometime. Then had our lunch under a pana maram :D
Then went to the beach and played in water for sometime. Took lots of snaps and few censored ;) :P too. Lavan was very afraid of water and myself and ambics made a point that everyone got wet :D so ellaryaum we pushed inside water :D
Having come so far, about jus 3 kms away from Mahabalipuram , lavan was very eager in visiting mahabs. So ellarum ponum to Mahabalipuram. Ate manga drank karumbu juice and took few snaps and returned back.
On the way back home, Nithyakalayana perumal kovilku poitu vandhom. Had a very good darshan. Did Archanai and came back.
Night dinner was at hotel Sangeetha, Bazulla road. It was Vijays birthday treat.
Ashwin, Srini and Sudh joined us for dinner. We had a great time at dinner too.

Neruku ner :D ;) - 09.06.05
It was wonderful that I got a chance to attend one of my dearest friend ambica's wedding, I met her for the first time at her home only a few weeds back. We were friends only thru the virtual world – orkut. But surprisingly we never felt like strangers when we met. It was as if we had been known to each other for years now. But she is one of my closest friends I now have.
I met ambs on the 9th June at her place. It was a memorable afternoon. There were few other friends who had gathered there before me. The attendance was – Lavan, Smriti, Parth, Viju, Rags, and me. I was bit late coz I returned home late after night shift at work and had to catch up with little sleep. Also that Lav had to buy an application for her brother, so we got bit delayed. We reached ambs place at 11.45am.
It was great to meet ambs in person. I was really happy and we shared few very nice moments together. Real fun started when we started pulling lavs legs. Poor lavan, she was the prey for us that day :P ;)
Then Ambics parents came and we had an intro session. Ambs gave us nice biscuits and juice to eat. The mango milkshake at their home was delicious and really excellent. I had two glasses :D
After that we made a plan for a long trip to thiruvanmiyur :D ;) on Saturday!! (part II will be continued shortly)
