Today was a great day for me. Am feeling very very happy after a long time. Got up late with amma giving me good Hot bed tea :D (i drink coffee,but very occasionaly :D)! Felt very fresh cos i had slept for almost the whole of Saturday and had a sound sleep last night. O:-)
I had decided to take amma out for lunch today, so safely escaped from todays duty of cooking :D :P ;). We went to a desi restraunt 601 at The Park. Quite an expensive place but was damn cool and a nice place to hang out. Had a very nice heavy lunch.
Menu :D - Starter with Clear veg soup (but it wasnt clear one..was only keerai thani with lots of keerai in it.. but was very tasty :D, then paneer tikka, apram Dosai. Main Course :-Dum biriyani (Veg!), Pav bhaji, Bracolli and cauliflower mixed veg, aviyal, beetroot poriyal, mixed veg curry, stuffed tomato, paneer butter masala, naan, dhaal and thayirsaadam :D.
Dessert :- some cheese cakes were there but i dint have those cakes. I had little fruit salad and watermelon juice and vanilla icecream topped with chocolate and honey sauce and few choco crunch flakes :D and finished with a hot masala chai :D
Then came the most exciting and wonderful part of the day. There was a meet at Abirami Mall with my school friends. It was great to meet them after a real long time of 6-7 years. One guy after about 11 years. It was really nice to see them. Every one of us are well placed now. We are earning and happy in life. We were chatting for about 41/2 hours. One guy is a doctor and he was narrating about his experineces, 5 guys are into big big software companies and one gal finished her M.Sc in Microbiology and ready for kalyanam :P ;). We were teasing each other and making fun of each other. Had a gala time. We actually wanted to go to the snowfield there, but couldnt get tickets and also we had to leave as it was getting late. Am all tears now.. ore ananda kaneer :D :)
Can never get back the fun i had during my school days. I miss those days :( but those sweet memories are keeping me happy :)

Enjoy ur life in India especially with ur family. U cannot get it when u r away from it...i mean after ur marriage or ur higher education. I still miss india and lots of my friends.
