Akarai seemai azhaginile

My post about Singapore and Malaysia is due almost for about a year's time now.. but will first update about Kuwait and later about SG and MY if I have any enthu to do it.

Came here on the 20th of December and the first two days were really scary. All men were wearing disdasha and gadra and women in purdha/ burka and very few with normal wear. Felt very uncomfortable due to the chill weather. But the after that got used to this place. It is really nice and best place for a total ob creature like me.

One can get a lot of leisure time here because almost everything is available ready made and life is so easy here. The luxuries are easily affordable here. It was surprising to see my paasamalar going to Veda classes and Sravanotsavam regularly and so many Indians are around. We can actually see mini Kerala and Andrapradhesh here. There are quite a few tamizhians too.

Had been to places called Al-Zour beach and Faahel. These are bay areas and man the cold winds were cutting thru the spines. It was damn cold and my hands turned almost numb! But it was fun :D. I drove my anna's Chevrolet so happily at 120 Kmph :D It was damn thrilling.

The New year started off well and we had been to Kuwait tower, the Scientific Centre and another place called Doha. There are n number of shopping malls here and I dont understand from where do these people get so much money to keep buying so many items. All i could do in those malls were jus window shopping!

Today was the best time I had since i landed at Kuwait. We had been to a place called Entertainment city. Its so well planned and very nicely maintained. The entry ticket cost 3.5 KD and few rides have to be purchased. They have segmented the city into three parts : International World, Future world and Arab world. The Future world was the best!.

The international world has all the family rides - there was an African Boat ride which was so good. The 5 mins ride would take you through an artificially made African forest. It was good. Then the American train ride which takes you through the entire city in a train with nice Arabic music played on. The third was a world car tour. There were miniatures of world monuments and we can ride past them in a small vintage car. There were other rides for kids those didnt interest me.

Next was the Future world. It was damn amazing. I went in a ride called Energy Storm and could see God and my great grand father for a moment. My breath stopped for a second. It was such a wild ride and the best one I had ever gone. It would make you go upside down and be rotated at such a high speed in that position. I had been in Ranger and other such rides that makes us go upside down, but this was something different. The next most thrilling ride was the Lightening Thunder ride. It was the best kind of roller coaster. My god! it was damn good. The wide water ride was not that great. The Australian Log ride was something similar to water splash and it was good. I didnt go to the tornado ride because of a bad neck pain after the Energy Storm ride.

The Arab world was again for families. It had some boat rides and mostly for kids. The sailor ride was into the dark world theme.

Im totally impressed with Kuwait and enjoying my vacations to the max. :D Its always nice to have an elder brother at times ;) who can sponsor an abroad vacation :D Im so lucky! hehe!!
