Its really bad and hurting to see the torn condition of our National Flag. This pic was taken at the Rajiv Gandhi memorial, Sriperambadhur.

Why do we have symbols like the flag,an emblem,a song,an anthem..at all?It is to boost the nationalist feeling and have a common identity, to fraternalise the next door neighbour as a fellow countryman regardless of religion or caste..it is a measure of patriotism on how we treat our symbols..
Sad to see the state of the flag for which Tirupur Kumaran and his likes gave up their very lives..
Really sad.
