Rain n pain :(

The Rain


The band in row, that
make up the colorful bow.
Every drop that pours
fills up the floors
of the houses of the poor.
If it rains with its happiness
the hearts of the farmers
are filled with joy and merriness,
but if the rivers overflow
the eyes of the people in the slopes too flow.
During the early showers
there blossoms the flowers, but
as the downpour is more and more
the farmer’s lives become sour and more sour.
Again after the drops are stopped
we see the sun around the clock,
but soon we see
the sun disappear and
the clouds and rains do reappear,
and we see the rushing crowd
waiting for the boats
which are on the roads.
Sometimes the rain is so heavy
that they bring up deaths and misery.
There the people waiting in the lanes
waiting for food carried by planes.
When the last drop dries
even the last crop dies
with so many cries.
And at last the rainy season goes
with the winter that follows.
If the rain is once again coming,
lets pray for the Gods blessing,
to slow the pace at which it’s racing!!

It was a worst experience in my life! Had never before got so much irritated and pained coz of rains. I had always enjoyed the rains till date and luv to get drenched, but its not the case always :(

Had to submit few important details for a meeting at ofis and also had to take my TOEFL in the morning. When i started for the test, worst of the thing i had expected happened. I had to pass through a lane, a lane full of water!! Drove in the knee deep water for the test. Half my mood got spoilt and didnt do the test properly. The climate was too gloomy that i got severe headache :(. After the test, when i decided to go to ofis, i took a more sophisticated road so that i can drive easily, but to my surprise, found that it was the worst one and i got struck up in the middle of the road stood there with water upto my hips!!

My first love ditched me for the first time :( the brakes failed and also couldnt move an inch. I cudnt help but start crying. Felt like the Ancient Mariner, caughtup in the middle of a sea with no help! Fortunately few autokarans were there to help. As thalaivar said "Neenga Kai thatina auto varumnu solarenga" - few autodrivers did come for my rescue. They pushed my vehicle to one side and luckly managed to start it again. With all the struggles reached ofis to find out that my manager was waiting for me to fire me out with all his questions and scoldings :(

After a very bad day, reached home, to see that water was into all rooms and worst of all got into my UPS. All my CDs were damaged. Fridge, washing-machine, grinder, air-cooler and vessels were floating in water :((. If this is my situation, pity those who r staying in the low lying areas and the thousands living in the slums.
God save them please!

Rain rain go away, and never come back with such a fray!
