It was raining heavily today and people had doubts if the meet would be held as per our plans. With some blind faith, I said definitely yes! And it did happen wonderfully well.
We all met at Woodlands drive-in at 4.00pm. As usual our folks did keep up the Indian punctuality. Kesavan along with his cousin Vasudha were there on time. Was good to see Vijay and Gadhadaran (a new admission to our group;)) too had reached well before time. After a small round of intro we were waiting for others to join.
Soon guest of the day Mrs.Anush and Mr.Ambs along with our hallo man Rajeev came. Our Orkut gang owes Ambs a special thanks coz it was during her wedding that we people became very close to each other. Thanks Ambs :)
Then came our ex-hero (since heroine is not in town :P) Badree with a big smile on his face. Soon Parth and sudh too joined. Since Mithi and Smriti got struck in a traffic jam they were getting delayed. Meanwhile our professional photographer Deeps had reached.
We decided to get inside and be seated. As we were a big gang, we asked the manager to arrange a place for us so that everyone can sit together.
Inspite of the fear of raining we sat outside and gave our orders. 5 sambarvadai, 4 bonda and 3 chenna batura. :D When we were about-to finish our first round Mithi and Smriti too joined, but they did not order anything. The second round went with 1 masal dosai, one plain dosai and few coffee, tea and sathukudi juice :P .
It was Kesavan’s day and he was royally treated ;) We were all making fun of him with his better halves ;) :P and occasionally didn’t forget to pull Mr. Hero’s legs too :D
There were few photo sessions and in the fun I forgot to pay the bill. It was supposed to be my treat but at last came to know that our so sweet beloved sis ambs gave the treat and Anush had paid the bill.
All fun over and it was time to say goodbye. At-last we decided to leave the place before the restaurant people pushed us out. Others had some work so they all left home. Myself, Kesavan, Mithi and Sudh decided to go to beach, as there was a long pending treat due from K7. Had a gala time at beach.
After a long time and a stressful week I felt extremely happy today and am all set for the next one on coming Sunday, a meet specially for our Choti si Asha :)

Hey it was a nice meet.. i was ROFL... A good lively post after a senti-max but thought provoking one... Hope 2 attend the meet on 9th for Choti si Asha :P
